Shanghai Exchange Seminar

This is “WC”, it’s been long time. Now, I am working at Shanghai where I can feel coming spring.

The other day, Exchange Meeting of Managers in Chinese and Japanese companies is held in Shanghai, Members from Hirayama presented the case of factory TPS Application in Thailand, India and China. Attending members of the meeting are showing deep interest and paying attention to the original practical cases of Hirayama.
After the presentation, we introduced our training programs including Toyota Training Center. Because we actually are planning training tour of Chinese companies in May, we will build total support system from training orientation in China and Coordination of program to after training follow-up.

TPS　Seminar in　Malaysia

We held the first TPS Seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the cooperation of Genius Pyramid Corporation, Consulting Firm. Because Malaysia is the most succeeded country in Asia which the number of firms had been introduced TPS, the Seminar conducted by former TOYOTA manager successfully closed.

TPS (Toyota Production System) Tour from Europe

We had TPS training tour composed by TPS and “Kaizen” consultants from France, England, Netherland and Portugal at this time. Because of the specialty of attendants, everybody had enough knowledge and studied well.

Main interest of attendants was the Practical Training of our program. Moreover, they showed enthusiastic behavior such as taking memo and positive questioning for the differences on factory management in Europe and Japan.
They impressed by visiting several different factories such as Automobile, Electronics, Beverage and Food Company.

We began to start planning next tour from Europe followed by the experience with this tour.

TPS training to the Chinese major vehicle maker

It is “Hermes” of the Genba Kaizen secretariat.
Following last year’s training Chinese railroad carriage maker Company N participated in the seventh TPS training by a schedule of 10/25 to 10/31.

In the tightly-packed schedule of one week, visited TPS lectures, Toyota Motor Corporation the home of Toyota Production System also Toyota Group Companies and the primary suppliers of Toyota. Also visiting competitor and exchanged opinions with a person concerned with companies about TPS promotion.
Furthermore, in the TPS practical training center of Hirayama,「How to make work relaxing for workers」「quality is included in the process」learned the essence of Toyota’s formula operating improvement.

The experience of the training is not only about the TPS study but also the Japanese traditional culture laid TPS.

TPS training to the Chinese major container company

Hello!!
It is “Hermes” of the Genba Kaizen secretariat.
Following in this March, Chinese major container manufacturer Company C participated in the TPS training again in October.
Including the main office, TPS promotion charged collected from each subsidiary and the enthusiasm was more than any other team.
Not only the TPS knowledge but also the eagerness for the study was strong above all.

Before joining the tour they summarized the problems of their factory in PPT documents.
During three days of training, they continued the discussion with the instructor about improvement until 12 at midnight in every night. This is the first step of own company style TPS.

In this training seems to have got a lot of hints not only about to introduce TPS in all C group offices but also the making of organization to, this is really a great profit of anything.

Vietnamese TPS training tour

Chamber of commerce (VCCI) of Hanoi plans a training tour of six days led by a local manufacturing company from November 17 to Japan, total of 24 visitors are participated.

Seminar to the major electrical equipment manufacturers from Korea

Recently, a seminar held in a pair of 14 young person elite administrators from major electrical equipment manufacturer from Korea.
The theme extended over the wishes of the students “production spot management” “quality improvement” “three principles of the present improvement” “TPS specific examples of improvements, etc.”

Visitors from Russian steel manufacturing industry that participated last year carried out TPS training this year.

TPS Seminar Held at Toyota City(Aichi Prefecture)

Recently, TPS seminar was held at Hotel Foresta Hills(Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture) by Mr. Kosaka, who has background lies in Toyota Motors Corporation.

The participants, in attendence from the U.S.A., involved in manufacturing lighting equipment in U.S.A. and Australia, people related to manufacturing space satellite equipment, clothing, apparel, or those related to University or industrial training centers.

On the day, the seminar was held in discussion form, having many questions about “Toyota Management”.

Among them, the strongest was on “the leadership”.

By implementing genba-kaizen(field improvement) and TPS, there are cases that contents of work and the workplace changes.
The participants of the seminar seemed to have concerns about how leaders should react and behave when staffs made some problem, to have cooperation to the changes without resisting, especially at the introduction of TPS.

The seminar has been extended for one hour over schedule, with Mr. Kosaka replying thoroughly to each question whille taking lunch with the participants.

At the end of the seminar, a present was given to Mr. Kosaka from the participants with feeling of thankfulness.
Mr.Kosaka seemed to be very pleased as well, to knowing the contents of the seminar were accepted with satisfaction by the participants.
